No this is not normal & is a red flag. I have had that happen to me a few times where the HR person wants me to come in for an interview and either I never hear back, or I get there and the situation is totally crazy. I have some other instances but I think you get the point... when they contact you via email it's generally not good. I think it's also a sign that they are doing m emails and just doing open interviews and whoever shows up, shows up... really impersonal & unprofessional.

Is something wrong with my Betta?

My Siamese Fighting Fish is behaving a little differently. A week ago I put him into new tank. He went from being in a around a 20L tank with heating to a 28L tank with heating and filtration. The filter outlet it turned towards the tank wall as it lessens the current. He was alright at first. Swimming a little less than normal but still eating and moving around. Where he used to come over to the side whenever I came past he now sits in one corner with a small bubble nest built around my heater. He hasn't eaten today and when I lifted the lid on the tank he moved closer to his nest. Is this normal behaviour? This is my first Betta and I would hate to see him die or get sick. Any ideas?

It is actually not as hard as it seems. The vinyl is held down with glue and will come right up. You really shouldn't have to remove the layer of plywood though. Most people just sand down the dried glue with an electric sander and make sure the floor is level before putting down the grout and tile. MAKE SURE the floor is level though before you start laying the tile or you will run into a lot more work than your ready for. Good luck

After treating tank for ich how do I prep tank to put amphibian back in?

My tank started showing signs of ich spots on three fish. I removed the carbon from the filter and temporarily moved my newt into another tank so that I could treat the tank with ich medication. The ich appears to have been eradicated. So now, do I need to do a 100% water change? Or just 50% and let the carbon take care of the rest and let it run through for a day before I put the newt back in?

How to quiet a Loud Puppy?

My yorkie just had a litter of puppies. They are all very healthy and sweet. I have one that is a lot more vocal than the rest and it will make it where it is going to be hard to find her a good home. Any suggestions. IMO it looks like you are trying to do to many things in this deck. You wanna go aim for one thing I.E.(control,swarm,burn. ect). First off, 40-42 cards is your best bet, less cards is better though. then you should take out Stardust ault mode(hes only good in a deck based around him, it would take way to long to get ault mode activate and you get the dead draws from drawing stardust ault) along with all the ault mode stuff. I would put 2-3 Icarus attacks. Blast held by tribute is somewhat slow and situational because you must wait for the battle phase, and it has to be a tribute summoned monster, Mirror force is better. No entry is better than windstorm in terms of defending. Compulsory should be at 3, this stops almost every monster and its one of the most annoying cards in the game, + you can chain it to a heavy storm. Aqua chorus is situational, and its not that much of a boost anyways. All in all no, this deck could not stand up to a top tier deck as it is now. basically you have too many cards trying to run their own show in this deck.

My car was recently MOT'd. They replaced two tyres and a windscreen wiper arm mechanism that wasnt working properly. They also moved one tyre from front to back. Breaking racehorse of habit?

I have a new thoroughbred filly, she'll be 4 in the spring and she's pretty fresh from the track. She's doing extremely good, but when we're cantering she swing her rear end towards the inside so she almost looks like she cantering side ways. She isn't responding at all to leg pressure and I can't really think of how else to get rid of this habit. I was thinking lunging would help, because it'd be pretty hard for her to keep her rump to the inside when she's doing a small circle.

Betta needs help ASAP have tried everything!?

Ok, I don't know if anyone here knows much about bettas, but mine is sick and has been for some time. It all started with a little bit of fungus on her face. I tried to treat with aquarium salt, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agents. By the next week it had spread to her body about half way down and her lips had started to dissolve. I removed her to a different tank with new and fresh water. I treated with a new and stronger anti-fungal. Today she has developed major popeye. If anyone has seen this before and/or has a suggestion about what I can do, I would appreciate it. I don't want her to die! :-(

After this I hear sirens and run inside just in time to see fire truck leaving from underneath the mansion, I go to a window and see with horror that the mountains in the distance are ablaze. I'll take it from the angle of economics. It generally doesn't matter the type truck. There's such thing called Monopolistic Competition. Each company is to convince you that they are the 'best" BUT when they all do the SAME thing, what makes them different? In a truck's case the only thing is the "NAME" and "Service" but they all offer service. They each make a claim of greatness and all deliver service. That's why it's hard to decide. Certain components count more. 1) The driver's chair should be airbagged and I would have wished for less vibration in my chair from the road. 2) Engines, critical mins/Detriots are the most common. They are ciritcal because out on the road IF you break down, you have a greater chance of getting someone to fix it faster, then say a Cat engine. 3) Size of sleeper is actually important. Standing up to get dressed versus rolling around like a worm in a Cab-over. Frieghtliners are common, parts are cheaper because more are available as more drivers are driving them. Any truck that you change the oil on, do regular maint, keep good tread and keep clean (helps you see if a problem is developing from a leaky transmission etc) will last over a million miles. Excessive idling, excessive jamming through gears, excessive speeds will cause the truck to fail sooner then later. The one engine I would agree with the 1st person who wrote you thoughts, Benz Engines SUCK. Our company had too many problems with them. Air bags for both the cab and axles are a good start for 'comfort'.

Question for Fundamentalist Christians?

I am a Christian and was how others balance their careers and keep ambition out of the picture. Obviously you have to have some sort of ambition to get promoted (I am in the Marine Corps and they design the promotion system to be competitive). They tailor you to be selfish to get promoted. But I don't want to have lustly selfish ambition, for living in the flesh is not of God but of the prince of this world. This causes jealousy/ strife etc. We are supposed to be content to just have food and clothing, but getting promoted requires making yourself look better than others. Obviously there is a delimma in every part of the Christian walk, but I am stuck mentally. Jesus said (and I truly believe HIM) we must lose our lives to save it. How do you balance the Christian walk with the sinful wordly broken system??? I've been in the Marine Corps nearly 7 years and fear God, I would rather give up my career than to displease God. I've had this for a few years now, but it's been coming and going months at a time. Daktarin (a fungal infection gel) has helped in the past but is becoming more unrespondent. I eat lots of red meat and fruit and veg to help my immune system but it still doesn't help that much. I notice that the rash comes usually after a night of heavy drooling in my sleep. 2004 Citroen C3 noise at 17mph!?

Hi can anyone help, my recently purchased 04 manual C3desire has started making a noise but strangely not all the time! At 17mph and then in the 20-30mphs it makes a short 2-3 second grinding/sc noise. It doesn't sound like it's coming from the front but understandably I'm a bit hesitant to lean too far out the car when in motion just to hear! It doesn't do this every journey so taking it to a garage is a bit of a random chance of it doing it. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd be really grateful - I am just reaching the end of my 3month warranty on the car so would like to get it fixed under this but the garage is 30mile away and sods law says it wont do the noise if I take it! Arranging them depends on the look you are going for. Sometimes just tossing a couple at the head of the bed and some at one corner of the bottom of the bed on a throw looks great for a casual feel. You can lay them from one side of the head of the bed to the other like dominoes lay after falling with the round one at the end of the bed. You can stand them up at the head of the bed with the two shammed ones up at the back, then working the size downward to the cylindrical one in the front keeping it symmetrical for a more formal look and one most people use (does not make it the rule). I like to stack pillows all different ways depending on my mood and not keep to one pattern...not so boring then. Anyway you place them that you like is the correct way.

I need some help with installing itunes into my iMAC G4?

A friend gave me his iMac G4 with MAC OS X 10.4 version tiger. I was trying to download the latest version of itunes 7.3 but it wasn't working. On the system requirements disclosure on apple.com it indicates that you need MAC OS X 10.3 or later version and G3, G4, and G5 iMACS. I checked so many times and I can confirm that I have the iMAC G4 with MAC OS X 10.4 version. So I ume I meet the requirements. When I went throught the installation it looked like it worked fine. I went through all the steps and it even stated that the installation was successful. But when I go to click on the itunes icon or even connect my 5th Generation ipod I get a error message that states "itunes 7 requires an upgrade of MAC OS X 10.4.7 or greater. go to apple.com/macosx." From there I'm clueless that error message clearly defeats the the purpose of the earlier requirements that states 10.3 or later. huh? I did notice that it asked for the 10.4.7 version. Please anyone help especially iMAC users. Thanks

Is this completely true. My recruiter told me about a guy who was denied because he had a concave chest. He went to another district and went to meps all over. They didn't notice his concave chest and he is now in the Marines. I was denied because of psoriasis. I should have never told my recruiter when we were doing the medical paper work because if I hadn't said anything they wouldn't have known from looking at me. I have no symptoms. My recruiter even took pictures of me for my waivers to prove that I had clear skin. My doc thought I had scalp psoriasis but now since I have stopped dying my hair, and I now use sulfate free vegan shampoos my scalp has cleared up. How do you deal with a controlling, interfering mother-in-law?

My MIL has caused so much stress in my life over the past 3 years. I am to the point that I cannot even look at the woman. I have such anymosity toward her, and I am not sure if what I am feeling is me just being petty & just not letting go of things, or if I truly have a gripe that needs to be addressed. My MIL comes to our home, looks through our mail, reads & searches through anything that is laying out in the open - I feel as though I have to "hide" everything before she comes over to our house. My husband & I have a lake home, and she insisted on having a key made for her to be able to use it when she wants to - my husband & I have had many discussions about this, as well as it causing a strain on our relationship. She invites all of her family for an entire week to come and stay at our lake home, without even asking us, but in fact tells me "It's going to happen, so you need to just deal with it!" She never talks to me this way in front of my husband, so my husband questions my interpretation of conversations with my MIL. My MIL constantly puts down her husband, who is one of the greatest men I will ever know in my life - he is very giving, happy, outgoing, supportive, loving, and just plain kind to everyone. Again, she never does this in front of others. She refuses to cook for him, clean for him, do laundry for him - "I've done it for over 40 years, I'm tired of doing it!" is her remark. She has said this in front of my husband & he totally laid into her. She is in bed every night by 7:00 & constantly talks about how tired she is. I don't call her anymore, because I am either intruding on her sleep time, or her computer time, and get chewed out for either one, so I stopped trying to call her. She never calls our house. She will rarely do anything for us if we ask her to, but yet she feels as though we can do everything for her. I had surgery last fall & needed some help with our daughter, as my husband was out of state on a hunting trip. I had made all the arrangements at my daughter's school as to what was going on, and low & behold, my MIL went & screwed it all up - she took it upon herself to tell the school something different, and they did not notify myself or my husband. Needless to say, the school staff was told, under no uncertain terms, that she, or anyone for that matter, is to dictate what goes on with our daughter - unless they hear it from my husband or myself, no one is to change anything for our daughter. My husband also laid into her for that once he found out what had happened. I had bi-lateral carpal tunnel surgery(outpatient) - I drove myself to and from my surgery, just to avoid having my MIL around. She came to our house after she got off work, and then left once I was settled in & my daughter was taken care of - which was very kind of her & I did appreciate that very much. She told me to let her know if she could do any more, to let her know. Well, I did ask her the following day if she could stop by to help me with a few things, and the response I got was, "I suppose, if I have to." I told her to not come, because I didn't want to interfere with her plans, so she didn't come over, which was fine. For my birthday, my husband got me this really nice lounging chair for outdoors, and guess who the first person was to sit in it - my MIL - I didn't have it out of the box & she had her behind in my chair. My car has trouble starting.?

Brandon I know the oxygen sensors would help with your vehicles performance but I do not think that is what is making it hard to start. I don't know what kind of car you have but it could be your plugs, fuel filter, coolant temperature sensor, fuel pump, or any number of things. I don't mean to scare you but vehicle make could give us more information. My car was hard to start and it run terrible for a few minutes and it was the coolant temperature sensor that went bad and did not show a code. The computer ignores the sensors signals if they are not working and puts the system into a closed loop. They don't do anything until they are at 600 degrees anyway. So obviously they do not affect start up.

I've been to a couple of gamelin concerts - they seem to have between 30 and 40 players, playing the same phrase for a long time (it's got a hynotic quality to it) and then the harmonics will change and the players all move to playing something subtly different. How is this actually done? Is there a 'leader' who signals 'time for a change' and exactly what sort of change it'll be? Watch a gamelin performance and it's difficult to percieve that they're all individual players, so any information on how it's done will satify a long felt want.

i have a 1998 ford explorer and i the check engine light came on. I took it to auto zone for a diagnostics and it gave a code for P0420. Bad catalytic converter, engine misfire large vacuum leak and engine oil leakage into exhuast-valve i really don't know what any of that means so my question is.
