Is my dog a pomeranian?

ive heard that poms are small. mine is about 15-20 lbs. the pet store i bought him from said he is a pom- red sable color. he resembles a small fox. after some investigation, it appears there is much debate about the difference between german spitz and pomeranian. so what breed of dog do i have???
