I want to redo my kitchen floor with tile it currently has vynl.?

It is actually not as hard as it seems. The vinyl is held down with glue and will come right up. You really shouldn't have to remove the layer of plywood though. Most people just sand down the dried glue with an electric sander and make sure the floor is level before putting down the grout and tile. MAKE SURE the floor is level though before you start laying the tile or you will run into a lot more work than your ready for. Good luck
