What does it mean when you dream about someone you know die?

I had a dream last night that my mom died, but it made no sense. In my dream we were in a tour bus kinda thing. My dad and some other people mistoke my hamburger for something else and started shooting. (i know, weird) But anyways after that happened I was In this beautiful house, my dad and sisters were crying. I knew what had happened so I started crying, then woke up, I woke up with tears. I had a similar dream a while ago where my little sister died. But nothing happened to her. Some people say it's a sign of rebirth, a couple months later we found out my auntie was preganat. I want to know if it's kind of the same situation.
