What do I do with my tulips which have died?

i work at a flower shop so i know you cut the dead flowers off and plant the bulbs in the spring dont plant in cold weather because the bulbs will freeze and wont grow while your waiting for spring you water the bulbs rarley they dont need that much water GOOD LUCK
