How many pages/what to do?
Industry standard is 250 words per page. Therefore you have written about 45.6 pages. When you come to those little problem spots, it usually isn't because you have writers block, it is because you haven't done your "homework" and don't have strong character studies. Therefore you don't know enough about your characters to know how they will react. You have a best friend, I ume, and you know that person well enough to almost anticipate what they are going to say. You know what movies they like, what flavor of ice cream they prefer, what their favorite music is, etc. You should know your characters like best friends. Then you will find that your characters more or less take over the story and lead YOU in the direction they want to go. That may sound silly, but the biggest authors in the business would tell you the exact same thing. Pax-C
