Does anybody appreciate Cambodians in this country?

I am a mix of white and asian and my mom is from Cambodia so my asian background comes from my mother's side. And Cambodia has had a lot of historical events good and bad. But anyway I understand from my heritage and my mother's background that Cambodians were unable to fit in with this country when they first immigrated with the language and culture. But some Cambodians are getting better jobs and better education in this country now than before.
