Why Somali people Discriminate disable people?

After doing a bunch of research and absorbing a lot of information. There is only one question that was bothered me. Why the Somali people discriminate the disable people. I have a friend he’s blind. And he told me sometimes he thinks to commit suicide because the isolation and the bad attribute for his community. He told me they call him name’s that will break your heart actually. Like “blind man” and so many others. And my friend isn’t only the person who has this problem. While I’m reading the research about Somali disabilities; I saw some discouraging information like a man who was fired his job, because his disability. Personally it is not good idea to call someone with his/her disability. It is impolite and unrespectfull. When I ask my friend why they’re calling you “blind man” he told me Somalia is normal everyone who has some disability is normal to call them whatever their disability is!
